At Ageless Derma, we believe we are making something special happen. An attitude that still resonates with our founder, Dr. Farid Mostamand, today nearly ten years after he began his journey to provide the best skincare options for people who want to have healthy and beautiful looking skin at any age.
In 2004, Dr. Mostamand opened Focus Medical Spa in Orange County, California. Offering a wide array of non-invasive procedures
Only two years later, the Spa saw the launch of DrSkinSpa.com, an online skincare retail store with over 4,000 physician-grade products
Through many conversations with clients worldwide, and as a result of his own ongoing scientific research while writing his book, Ageless Skin Obsession, he came to realize that many skin care products were either entirely ineffective or performing well below expectations.
As a result of his efforts, a new physician-grade brand entered the skincare arena in 2010, our very own Ageless Derma.
The Science
Dr. Mostamand assembled a team of respected biochemists, scientists, estheticians who would study the results of skin care research conducted by leading universities and research facilities. The team initiated a four step plan to guide their work:

The research team thoroughly reviewed the unbiased research in anti aging skincare available from only the most respected universities and research facilities.
Step 2 – Identify Which Ingredients Are Proven Effective And In What Concentrations
The team concluded that many skin care products were ineffective because key ingredients were not properly formulated to be absorbed at a cellular level and did not have high level concentrations of active ingredients.
Step 3 – Ascertain and Master The Most Current Biotechnology And Techniques
Skincare products developed even as recently as ten years ago are outdated. The Ageless Derma team was stunned to discover that a majority of the effective ingredients in many skin care products are wasted due to lack of proper formulation.
